Braced Structural Frames

Braced Structural Frames Most of high rise Building Has Braced Structural Frames and even though they are often isolated within buildings and don‟t include the majority of the steel member and design and construction teams pay a lot of attention to them because they are unique and serve a critical function. Basically, bracing systems are widely used at construction sites to reinforce building structures in which diagonal supports intersect. Braced Structural Frames provides one or more of the following functions: Control buckling of the main beams Load distribution Dimensional control

demolition

Safe and efficient building demolition requires careful planning. Determining how and when demolition work is to be done is especially critical when extremely hazardous conditions or unique circumstances are present. Demolition planning is especially crucial for projects in which the removal of materials poses risks to the safety of people or adjacent property. Therefore pre-considering the demolition process is very important. The following considerations may necessary to pre consider the demolition process of high rise building; Controlling legislation-  A person who fails to give notice to the local authority is liable on summery conviction to a fine. Type of construction- The structural systems and materials used in a structure to be demolished are important factors in determining the demolition approaches, methods, and procedures suitable for a project. Some projects require special consideration. Such as, projects that involve removal of post tensioned concrete members and projects that include demolition in historic structures. Selective removal of building components in a way that protects remaining portions of the structure is another type of demolition that requires careful consideration of construction systems and materials in the demolition planning process.

Rigid structural frames

Rigid frame structural is a structure made up for linear elements. Typically beams and columns, that are connected to one another at their ends with joints that do not allowed any relative occurs between the attached members. Although the joints themselves may rotate as a unit. Members are essentially continued through the joint. As with continuous beams rigid frame structure are statically in determined. This type of frame is particularly desirable because of its relatively high strength compared to other types of frames. Steel structural pieces are most common, but other types of frame pieces also might be used, including concrete structural pieces in bridges. This type of frame is particularly popular because of its relatively high strength compared to other types of frames. There are some important advantages to this style of building design. For example, the usual square or rectangular construction of a rigid frame building yields more usable space than a comparable rounded frame building such as one that utilizes arch structure. Rounded structural pieces of an arch-style building decrease available space and side space where the structural pieces curve.

Wood

Wood is the oldest and one of the most commonly used engineering materials in the world. and wood is the most commonly used building material to this day. wood is environmental friendly material. wood is an organic material. Wood is so widely used because of its low cost. Wood also combines high stiffness and high toughness. As wood is a renewable resource, Wood is a fibre-composite material with complex overall structures. Wood is a cellular material. that Cells form the basic unit of life and are immensely complicated. it is a good material from an environmental perspective and its production requires only a low energy input.but we must think carefully about the environmental impact of using large quantities of wood.
wood has two types.they are soft wood and hard wood
